Kester's teachers use Google Classroom to post assignments online. Students can also use Google Classroom to login to some of the websites listed in the resources below. Students should use their @mymail.lausd.net e-mail address to access Google Classroom.

Every Kester student is automatically issued a Student Success Card (SSC) through the Los Angeles Public Library. It offers a lot of wonderful resources including homework tutoring, free computer time, access to digital media, etc.

Login to your iPad using your student's @mymail.lausd.net e-mail and password. To install apps on the iPad, open the App Catalog and click the install button next to the app you want to install. Click on the green Installed button to re-install or update an app. Your iPad must be connected to WiFi and the VPN in order for applications to connect to the internet. Check out this video tutorial if you are having connection problems.
Install the Kami app extension to use with Schoology or Google Classroom.

From the SAG (Screen Actors Guild), over 20 books are read by actors at Storyline Online. Each title includes the video where the story is read and a set of activity ideas.
From the publishers of TIME magazine, TIME for Kids is loaded with interesting articles, photos, and videos. Politics, the environment, entertainment, sports, and health are just some of the topics covered. TIME for Kids isn't as interactive as most of the other website on this list of educational websites for kids, but the site does tackle subjects that are in the news now while being written for an audience of children. (Grades 2 – 5)
